This position generally requires at least five years of experience in accounting or finance, and public accounting experience is highly valued. Businesses expect a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, but many prefer applicants who also have a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or an accreditation such a chartered professional accountant (CPA) designation.
